For more than 30 years Vulcan has long been providing custom radiation shielding. Vulcan’s experience in the radiation shielding markets combined with our manufacturing abilities and knowledge allow us to apply our unique expertise in heavy metals and alloys across a wide range of industries. From medical X-ray and CT shielding products to the rapidly growing market for industrial x-ray applications, including non-destructive testing machines and security products, VulcanGMS has been at the forefront of shielding innovations for industry. We’ve become the OEM partner of choice for nuclear medicine and PET manufacturers, nuclear pharmacies and radiopharmaceutical manufacturers.
Using the full capacity of our three plant locations, including our newest facility in Dongguan, China, we take this expertise and provide turnkey design and delivery of parts, components and full assemblies for customers worldwide. We work along side our customers to drive efficiency and results from our manufacturing plants to theirs, by developing kitting protocols, providing full installation services, and providing inventory and logistics management support that keep their factories humming.

In addition to our manufacturing facilities in the U.S., VulcanGMS has manufacturing, distribution, and supply ties to Europe, Mexico, South America, Russia, China and South Africa. In addition to our manufacturing facility in Dougguan China, two more facilities are in the works. This broad- based network of manufacturing and supply capabilities provides VulcanGMS and our customers the ability to competitively produce and procure products in both emerging and developed markets worldwide.
