For North American and European based global concerns, doing business in China is a top strategic priority. In order to sell their equipment and/or products into China, it is typically required that a percentage of work, material, and/or labor content used in producing that equipment or product come from China. Vulcan Global Manufacturing Solutions is helping these Fortune 500 companies, as well as smaller business wanting to do business in China, meet the need for domestic China content in their products.

In 2003 VulcanGMS entered the Chinese market to expand its sourcing of raw materials to meet our customers needs. Within a year, we had established VulcanGMS owned machining and assembly facility and had established exclusive partnerships in China for producing tungsten, lead, copper, steel, and aluminum products. Today we are able to manufacture and supply a wide variety of products including leaded glass, machined tungsten and lead products, machined aluminum and steel castings and forgings, fabrications and assemblies, cabinetry and enclosures, and injection molded plastic parts for both the US and Asian markets.

Having a VulcanGMS owned and operated facility in southern China with our own employees and true ISO 9001/2000 system, has allowed us to maintain the highest level of quality control and intellectual property protection for the products we produce for our customers. Our triple redundant quality systems, with identical CMMs and testing equipment, identical fixturing and programs, and identical testing and documentation systems are 100% under our control. The final process for all of the products we produce for our customers in China go through our own facility in China.
