While lead is the metal of choice for many applications, there are times when the physical characteristics of tungsten are required. Because it is denser than lead and less difficult to work with, VulcanGMS has expanded its tungsten capabilities to produce parts for companies where tungsten’s cost-benefit ratios make sense.
The company is also leading the way in the introduction of plasticized heavy metal polymers that can be injection-molded.
